It is Time

Last week we met with our realtor.  It is time to move on from this house.  Most of you are familiar with our home or have been here and realize that we have out grown this house.  Actually, we outgrew it after baby#2 but we have managed to make it work squeezing six of us in this cracker jack house.   We organize, re-organize, throw out, donate on a regular basis to make room for us.  This house has been a good size because with four kids (in a matter of five and a half years) they can venture away but never too far away.  In house this size you know where everyone is all the time.  Also, with four munchkins cleaning is not always a top priority so a small house works well.  This house has been good to us.  We brought our babies home here.  We all have nice, warm beds, warm showers and abundant food.  Our space is just a bit confined.

Over the last year Josh and I have tossed the idea back and forth but never moved on it.  We have been praying and feel like we are being led in the decision to sell and move on.  We would like to stay in the same area since our church, family and friends are close by.  Over the next few weeks we will be trying to push our kids over to the grandparents so that we can paint and do the necessary jobs to get this place ready.  We are excited about this journey although we know that it will be hard and a true test of our faith.  More than anything we are excited to see where this leap of faith will take us.  We are relying on God's timing and not our own.  This is not easy but we are trusting that if it is all meant to be then it will all work perfectly.

If you would like to donate to the "Josh and Katie House Fund" feel free to...only kidding! We would greatly appreciate your prayers more than anything though.

Praying for you on this journey. It can be challenging, but I'm praying God will lead you to the perfect house in His perfect timing! :-)
